Key Pieces To Have In Your Closet
Whatever your style, a striped shirt is always a winner! A tee-shirt, tank, long sleeve…whatever you choose! It just adds a pattern that will never go out of style.
A light wash jean can make any look instantly “stylish, fun, approachable (you put in a fun adjective). And if you aren’t a fan of skinny jeans in a lighter wash, go straight leg or boyfriend! So cool with sneakers or heels (& all in between). * cool ones can be found in boutiques, thrift stores, & consignment stores!
A white button can be super classy or edgy, just a matter of how you style it.
Untucked with a jean or tucked into a skirt- this piece has a lot of legs.
A black jean is another piece that I say “add to your collection!” If you don’t have black, a fair blue is great as well. Again, versatility is big with black jeans. It’s just a step up in the dressy department over blue denim.
Heathered grey t-shirts (crew or v-neck) are another “hit” in my book! Easy breezy and always great as a layering piece.
Always nice to have a go-to party dress! You can always go solid navy (or black), but if you’re up for color/pattern, make this piece a fun one!! And it’s ok if you wear it time and again- change up your hair, lip color, or accessories.
The leather jacket is one of my all-time favorites! It can change an outfits look so easily & actually keeps you warm if you’re using for the in-between seasons. Brown, black, metallic…can’t go wrong!
Styles change (and your necklaces may as well), but having at least one great necklace is necessary (that word may be a stretch here). It is an incredible piece to have. It’s what can complete a look or just add a little pizazz!!

Lastly, having a top with a cool or different silhouette is simply something that will make you smile when you put it on. And different could mean a wild color, pattern or fabric- doesn’t have to be an interesting shape.
